ABOUT US
Gold Star Wives of America, Inc. is an organization of widows and widowers whose spouses died while on active duty in the military services or as the result of a military service connected cause.
GSW was organized in 1945 by the war widows of World War II. It is a Congressional chartered, non-profit organization incorporated in the State of New York. Eleanor Roosevelt signed the original GSW incorporation papers.
The Arlington Chapter was established on April 5th, 2012 and has particularly appealed to the post-911 Gold Star widows and widowers. We support legislative action as well as establish a camaraderie and support network for military surviving spouses and their children.
